CCN Email Configuration: Netscape

1. Start the Netscape application.
2. Choose Edit from top menu. This will open a pull-down menu.
3. Choose the Preferences option from the pull down menu. This will open a new window.
4. Select the + left of the Mail and Newsgroup header.
5. Select the Identity entry. Fill in the:
   • Your Name: First LastName
   • Email Address: mailaccount@casselton.net
   • Reply-to Address: mailaccount@casselton.net
6. Select the Mail Servers entry.
7. Add a new mail profile by selecting Add. This will open a mail configuration window.
8. Server name: mail.casselton.net.
9. Server Type pull down menu should be POP.
10. User Name: (account given to you)
11. Select OK to exit the new mail profile configuration window.
12. Outgoing mail (SMTP) Server: mail.casselton.net
13. The Use SSL or TLS for outgoing mail should be Never
14. Select the OK button to exit mail configuration.
